LIKE US – A New Radio Soap Opera
“Like Us” is a coming of age radio soap opera that will be airing on college radio stations nationwide starting Monday February 1st. “Like Us” is based on the lives of the students of the fictional HBCU, Atlanta University. It deals with social and personal issues facing college students and members of the urban community.
I wrote and produced the song for this soap opera and am proud to be part of this production. The homie, Shirley Vernae, is the writer, producer, and the brains behind this exceptional production.
This Thursday Jan 28th, I will be performing an original song from, “time and space” at the official “Like Us” listening party at STIR Lounge (1363 1st Ave) in from NYC from 6pm-10pm. Guest will enjoy special performances, mingling, networking, gift bags, drinks, music, and for the first time be able to preview The “Like Us” Show’s first season. The event is open to the public.
