I am EXTREMELY PROUD TO BE PART of the legacy of this school. Most people don’t know about Wesleyan when I respond to their question, “So what school did you go to?” I usually laugh (in my head) if they haven’t heard of it because it is one of the top schools in the country. YOU BETTER ASK SOMEBODY!!!

Wesleyan University now offers an “Elite Education To Connecticut Inmates.” A quote from the article: “Although community colleges and others, like Boston University, have long had inmate programs, the two-month-old Wesleyan program is one of a few in the country where the selection process is highly rigorous, where academic potential is the primary criterion and where past criminal conduct, however heinous, is not considered in admission.”

Now THIS IS MORE LIKE IT. My goodness, I was starting to get worried about the quality of her album due to her first two singles. But with the release of this track, “Dreamin” I know now that there is at least ONE song that connects with me. What do you think?

And… We’re back !

I just got put on to this track, but then realized that I’ve heard it a few times. Definitely like the swag of this artist, “Duffy” who is a throwback of sorts with a sanguine, melodic voice that brings to mind ’60s artists. But I enjoy that thoroughly simply because I’ve been influenced most by that genre. Check it out and enjoy.
