Thank me in the morning…

Although, I am NOT a fan of this song, I must say Alicia Keys and Beyonce look fantastical. These pictures are from their video shoot in Brazil for the song, “Put is in a Love song.” Yeah… Beyonce is that ish.
*sidenote — I actually had a dream the other night that Beyonce and I had a love affair. I thought I would have outgrown such dreams, but when that is the effect Beyonce has on people. DAMN! she’s a bad woman.

Superbowl Commercials

After literally a month of getting my new place together and planning this superbowl party, it finally took place last night. Although I was suffereing from a serious cold, I sucked it up and hosted what I thought to be a very succesful event. Everyone had a great time and we all just kicked it. Now, as we all know, the commercials during the superbowl are just as popular as the game itself. However, I must say that I was disappointed this year with the majority of the commericials. Bud light and Doritos held down the humor, while Vizio gave us five seconds of Beyonce and companies like Cars.com and Coca Cola flopped! Here were my and my guests’ favorites::
What were your favorite commercials ?
Bruce Lee — (in Bizarro land)
I’ve been stressed these past few days, trying to get organized and settled. If you didn’t know, I finally have my own place, so getting things together have been kind of hectic. However, clips like this keep me moving! Check it out. An also, check out the event below… we are not playing… it’s about to be on and poppin.

EPIC – We are the World Remake
According to reports yesterday afternoon several stars such as Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, Kanye West, Will.I.Am, Wyclef Jean, T-pain, Gladys Knight, Brandy, the homie Melanie Fiona, Trey Songz, and more took to the day-after-Grammys gathering to re-record the classic charity single We Are the World, this time for Haiti earthquake relief. I am very excited for this and it must have been an unbelievable feeling in the studio while they were recording this. It is the 25th anniversary of the world wide hit written by Michael Jackson and Quicy Jones and I am very excited to hear it.

Kids Say–and Do–the Darnedest Things
I admit, I got caught up in an episode or two of this Jersey Shore madness on MTV (meanwhile I’m appalled at the lack of musical content, but I digresss..). Much like everyone else, I viewed it simply because I could appreciate a nice, hearty laugh at the moment. This week, however, I came across this spoof on the Jersey Shore show, reenacted by a group of kids. Let me just say, this mess is ridonkulously hysterical. Enjoy!!

I made the paper!

Last week, I participated in a Haiti relief benefit concert at Elmont Memorial High School, my Alma Mater. It was an amazing experience. I participated because 1. it was for a great cause and 2. it was my hometown and I will always giveback to my community because they instilled a lot of great things that has helped me become the person I am today. Not thinking anything would come of it, I made the papers! FRONT PAGE I MIGHT ADD! The link online is messed up, but you can see the preview here: The Lance Drummonds Experience — Thanks to everyone for the support!

Please continue to support relief funds for Haiti as they have a long way to go.
